Ponder leaves game with possible concussion

Minneapolis, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - Minnesota Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder suffered a possible concussion in Sunday's 23-20 overtime win against the Bears.

Ponder suffered the injury late in the first half of the game after he was hit in the head by Chicago lineman Shea McClellin.

The team later said that he was being evaluated for a possible concussion and that he was ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Matt Cassel was out for Minnesota's final snap of the half, and was leading the team when the second half started.
