Former WR Johnson spends time in jail

Chad Johnson allegedly violated several terms of his probation.

Fort Lauderdale, FL (Sports Network) - Former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson turned himself in to authorities on Monday for allegedly violating several terms of his probation and served time in Broward County jail before being released on $1,000 bail.

Johnson, while a member of the Miami Dolphins, was arrested last August on a misdemeanor after allegedly head-butting his then-wife Evelyn Lozada during an argument.

According to a police report, Johnson and Lozada were arguing in a vehicle. The argument apparently started when Lozada found a receipt for condoms in the car. continue>>
