NASCAR Camping World Truck Series

Truck qualifying at Texas rained out, Lofton awarded pole

Fort Worth, TX (Sports Network) - Persistent rain at Texas Motor Speedway on Thursday forced NASCAR to cancel qualifying for the WinStar World Casino 400 Camping World Truck Series race.

The starting lineup for Friday's 250-mile (400-kilometer) race at Texas was determined by owner points. Therefore, Justin Lofton will start on the pole.

Timothy Peters will start second, followed by rookie Ty Dillon, James Buescher and Parker Kligerman.

Brendan Gaughan, Todd Bodine, who won last Friday's rain-shortened race at Dover, Nelson Piquet Jr., Ron Hornaday Jr. and Matt Crafton will roll off sixth through 10th. Bodine is a six-time truck race winner at Texas. Five of his victories here have come in the spring event.

The race is scheduled to start just after 9 p.m. (ET).
