              === Ibrahimovic lifts Sweden past Faroe Islands ===
 
 Stockholm,  Sweden (Sports  Network) - Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored twice to help
 Sweden  to a 2-0 victory over the Faroe Islands in World Cup qualifying action
 on Tuesday.
 
 The PSG striker opened the scoring in the 35th minute to put the Swedes in the
 driver's seat.
 
 Andreas  Granqvist  was sent  off 11 minutes  from time to  make for a nervous
 finish  at Friends  Arena,  but  Ibrahimovic converted  a  penalty kick  three
 minutes  later to seal the victory, which brings Sweden level with Ireland and
 Austria  on  11 points apiece. The  three nations trail first-place Germany in
 Group C by five points.
 
 The  Faroe Islands remain at the bottom of the group with no points from their
 six matches.
 
 In Group B action on Tuesday, Armenia earned a shock 4-0 road win over Denmark
 thanks  to  a brace  from Yura Movsisyan.  The result sees  the two nations go
 level  on six  points apiece  with  Armenia moving  ahead of  Denmark on  goal
 difference.
 
 And  Dmitri Verkhovtsov  scored five  minutes from  time to  cancel out  Teemu
 Pukki's  opener as  Belarus played to a 1-1 draw with Finland. Belarus remains
 last in Group I with four points, two points back of Finland.
