Granada, Spain (Sports Network) - A 10th-minute goal from Karim Benzema was enough to hand Real Madrid a 1-0 win at Granada on Monday, giving Madrid two wins from its first two matches.
Benzema netted a goal in Madrid's opening-weekend win over Real Betis, and he was on target again after 10 minutes on Monday.
Angel Di Maria drove the ball to the back post for Cristiano Ronaldo, and he brought it down and left Benzema with a first-time finish.
The visitors spent much of the match on the front foot, but were unable to add to their lead, with Isco's near-post shot striking the post to deny Madrid a second goal.
