London, England (Sports Network) - David Beckham has made no indication of where his playing future lies, but he has suited up to train with Arsenal in the meantime.
The former England captain was revealed Tuesday to be training with the Premier League outfit, though manager Arsene Wenger has stressed that the Gunners will not be signing the 37-year-old to a contract.
"He has asked to come here and to work on his fitness," Wenger said of Beckham's arrival. "There's no speculation about signing or anything."
Beckham left the Los Angeles Galaxy in November following back-to-back MLS Cup victories, putting an end to an illustrious five-and-a-half-year tenure in America. The global superstar has had no shortage of suitors since departing the Galaxy and is mulling playing offers from around the world.
