Manchester, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Manchester City midfielder David Silva is expected to miss the next four weeks because of a calf problem.
Silva played 66 minutes in City's 5-2 Champions League victory over CSKA Moscow on Tuesday, and manager Manuel Pellegrini has said that the Spain international will miss Sunday's game at Sunderland and is likely to be out until December.
"His problem is his calf. I don't know exactly how many weeks it will be, but maybe three or four weeks," Pellegrini said.
In seven league games for City this season, Silva has tallied three goals with three assists.
