Insight: He had gone six scoreless innings and had a 1-0 lead entering the seventh. Gonzalez then unraveled by walking two and hitting a third batter. He was then lifted, but Washington's bullpen could not get the job done. Gonzalez's final line was not as pretty (6 1/3 innings, five hits, three runs, four walks, four strikeouts).

Insight: He actually did not let up any earned runs (two unearned), but was not particulary sharp. Gonzalez gave up four hits and had only one strikeout, before he was lifted for a pinch-hitter. He will look to rebound from a 10-10 season, and should be considered a potential sleeper in 2015, as there is a chance Gonzalez could be overlooked in drafts.
