Chang-woo Lee wins Asia-Pacific Amateur

Longkou, China (SportsNetwork.com) - South Korea's Chang-woo Lee closed with a 1-under 70 on Sunday to win the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship.

Lee mixed four birdies and three bogeys in his round. He finished the championship at 3-under-par 281. With the victory, the 19-year-old Lee will earn an invitation to the 2014 Masters and gains a spot in the International Final Qualifying for The Open Championship.

"Playing in the Masters has been my dream since I started playing golf," Lee stated. "I didn't think I would have an opportunity to ever do so, so this is a great honor, as is playing in International Final Qualifying for The Open Championship. I have never been so excited."

Shohei Hasegawa managed an even-par 71 to end alone in second place at even- par 284. Hasegawa also earned a spot in the International Final Qualifying for The Open Championship.

Kenta Konishi carded a 1-under 70 on Sunday to move into third place at 1-over 285. Zecheng Dou, who entered the final round one shot off the lead, struggled to a 4-over 75, which dropped him into a share of fourth place at plus-3.

Dou was joined there by Soo-Min Lee (70) and Lucas Hebert, whose 68 was easily the low round of the day.

Last year's winner Tianlang Guan carded a 2-over 73 in the final round to finish in a tie for eighth at 5-over 289.
