Description: Tebow Mania won't be coming to New England according to Yahoo Sports. | Insight: Apparently head coach Bill Belichick "hates" Tebow as a player. That's pretty harsh. Tebow was let go recently by the Jets and hasn't drawn much interest from other teams. His best hope is to land a backup job before training camp starts in July.

Description: When asked about the possibility of adding quarterback Tim Tebow this offseason, new Jaguars GM David Caldwell said, "I can't imagine a scenario where he would be a Jacksonville Jaguar." SOURCE: ESPN New York | Insight: Jacksonville seemed like a good fit for Tebow given his popularity in Florida and the Jaguars' recent instability at the quarterback position. Now that the Jags are out of the running, we're not sure where Tebow will land in 2013.

Description: ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that the Jaguars are the favorites to land quarterback Tim Tebow this offseason. | Insight: Tebow is expected to be released by the Jets after the season. Tebow should have a chance to start in Jacksonville so this move would be good for his fantasy value.

Description: New York Jets backup QB Tim Tebow is being sought after by Jacksonville, according to an Action News Jacksonville report. | Insight: Tebow has done very little in New York while playing a varity of positions. He's thrown just three passes and rushed for 78 yards on 23 carries. Jaguars' owner Shad Khan has always been a big Tebow supporter.

Description: New York QB Tim Tebow will get some reps at running back Sunday against the Patriots according to Rich Cimini of ESPN New York. | Insight: Tebow will serve as Shonn Greene's backup on Sunday. This season Tebow has compiled 64 rushing yards on 18 carries.

Description: New York Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow could see a lot more action on Monday night against Houston, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. | Insight: With Santonio Holmes out, Stephen Hill and Dustin Keller likely also sidelined and Shonn Greene not producing out of the backfield, Tebow might be the team's most explosive offensive weapon.

Description: ESPN New York reports that Jets owner Woody Johnson "will push" for Rex Ryan to start Tim Tebow at quarterback if Mark Sanchez continues to struggle. | Insight: Well, we knew this would happen at some point. If Tebow ends up taking the job from Sanchez, fantasy owners can expect weak passing numbers but excellent rushing stats from the third-year quarterback. So far, Tebow has thrown only one pass this season, a nine-yard completion to tight end Dedrick Epps.

Description: Quarterback Tim Tebow may want out of New York after the season according to the Daily News. | Insight: Mark Sanchez looked terrific in Week 1's win against Buffalo (3 TD, 1 INT, 266 yards) and if he continues to play at this level, Tebow probably won't see a whole lot of playing time in the coming weeks. It's hard to imagine Tebow demanding a trade given his selfless demeanor and team-first attitude, but certainly he'd have a more realistic chance at starting if he played for a different team.

Description: Jets quarterback Tim Tebow has struggled this preseason. Through two games, the New York backup is 9-for-22 on pass attempts for 96 yards, no touchdowns and an interception. | Insight: Starter Mark Sanchez (13-for-17, 80 yards, zero TD, one INT) has been almost as inept as Tebow, making the New York quarterback situation one to stay away from in fantasy this season.

Description: Team insiders have reported that the Jets are planning to use backup quarterback Tim Tebow when they are in the red zone this season. | Insight: It sounds like Tebow (12 TDs, 6 INTs, 72.9 QB rating for Denver in 2011) will be getting plenty of goalline carries for New York this season, meaning that despite his diminished role as a passer, he could still have some decent fantasy upside.

Description: Tim Tebow Mania in New York will have to wait another 24 hours. The Jets/Broncos trade completed on Wednesday will not become official until 4 pm Saturday. Tebow had to sign a re-written contract with the Broncos because of a procedural issue. He'll stay on Denver's salary cap until the 4 pm deadline tomorrow. | Insight: Don't worry New York, Tebow will be a Jet soon enough. This is just a formality. Tebow is expected to be introduced in a press conference on Monday.
| 3/21/2012 9:26:00 PM |
Description: It's official: Tim Tebow is a New York Jet. The Broncos will receive New York's fourth and sixth round draft picks while the Jets receive Tebow and a seventh-round pick. | Insight: We're not sure what the Jets are thinking here. Didn't they just give Mark Sanchez a contract extension? Tim Tebow is the backup for now but maybe Rex Ryan is planning on bringing back the wildcat and using Tebow that way. Mark Sanchez didn't play very well last year so it's possible Tebow could even earn the starting gig if he performs well enough in training camp.

Description: Tim Tebow's trade to the Jets has hit a snag. The issue is with a clause in Tebow's contract, which would require New York to pay Denver $5 million in addition to the fourth and sixth round picks the Jets had agreed to trade for Tebow. | Insight: Tebow to New York is on pause, and at this point, there's a good chance it might not happen. Suddenly, Tebow to Jacksonville has become a possibility again. We'll keep you posted on Tebow's status.

Description: If you retained Tim Tebow in your keeper league, today has been a rough one for you. It appears that Tebow's days as the starting QB in Denver are over. | Insight: Peyton Manning's signing with Denver seems inevitable and Tebow has few options. There doesn't seem to be any place for him to go where he can start and help your fantasy team next season. The Miami Dolphins might be your last hope for Tebow producing fantasy points in 2012.

Description: Broncos coach John Fox refused to commit to Tim Tebow as his Week 9 starter following Sunday's loss to the Lions.
Source: Vic Lombardi via Twitter | Insight: The Lions attacked Tebow and really rattled him, causing him to fumble three times and throw a pick six. His performance was brutal, but we don't see Fox pulling the plug just yet, with Kyle Orton and Brady Quinn as backups.

Description: The Broncos have named Tim Tebow their starting quarterback, according to multiple reports.
Source: Josina Anderson via Twitter | Insight: Kyle Orton has been extremely ineffective and it was only a matter of time. He'll make his first start in week 7 against Miami, which is essentially a home game for him as the 2009 Florida Gators will be honored. Orton can be dropped in all formats and Tebow makes a decent QB2.

Description: It is fair to say the jury is still out on Tim Tebow.
He started only three games in 2010 as a rookie. And now he has to deal with a transition period as the Broncos change its coaching staff.
The road ahead is not going to be an easy one for Tebow and the Broncos. But in the three games he started at the end of 2010, Tebow showed potential '" as both a real and fantasy quarterback.
Because of his torrid three-game stretch, I wanted to compare Tebow to other high-profile quarterbacks who started games during their rookie seasons. Since Tebow only started three games, I compared his numbers with the best three-game stretch for these quarterbacks.
The numbers are '? a bit surprising, actually.
Tim Tebow, 2010
Week 15: 24 fantasy points (138 passing yards, 1 TD; 78 rushing yards, 1 TD)
Week 16: 22 fantasy points (308 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT; 27 rushing yards, 1 TD, 1 Fumble)
Week 17: 29 fantasy points (205 passing yards, 2 TDs, 2 INTs; 94 rushing yards, 1 TD)
Three-week average: 25 fantasy points
Mark Sanchez, 2009
Week 7: 17 fantasy points (143 passing yards, 1 TD; 1 rushing TD)
Week 8: 28 fantasy points (265 passing yards, 2 TDs; 1 rushing TD)
Week 10: 10 fantasy points (212 passing yards, 1 TD, 2 INTs)
Three-week average: 18.33 fantasy points

Description: According to ESPN's Mark Schlereth, Brady Quinn will serve as the Broncos' No. 2 quarterback in Saturday's preseason game.
Source: Mark Schlereth via Twitter | Insight: Quinn somehow managed to impress the coaches, because he's the backup for Orton in the Broncos 2nd preseason game. Tebow might come in the game for certain packages and plays, but he's moved to the bottom of the depth chart.

Description: Word on the street is that new Broncos HC John Fox loves Tim Tebow and has all-but-named him the starting QB for the 2011 season. An anonymous source told NBC Sports, "It's his (Tebow's) job to lose."
SOURCE: NBC SPORTS | Insight: Most experts still believe Kyle Orton is on the trading block, so there won't be much of a QB competition in Denver this year if that's the case. The Broncos reportedly want a third-round pick for Orton. If not, they could keep him around creating quite a QB competition. Denver is also looking at Jake Delhomme to be a veteran signal-caller to help Tebow progress.
| 6/21/2011 4:28:00 PM |
Description: Denver Broncos head coach John Fox said that QBs Kyle Orton, Tim Tebow and Brady Quinn will be in a wide-open competition when training camp starts.
SOURCE: DENVER POST | Insight: "I've said it before and I mean it. It'll be a competition," Fox said. "Competition is what this game's about, whether if it's an opponent or a depth chart. It's been this way as long as I can remember." Our opinion is that Orton will eventually be traded and the job will be handed to Tim Tebow, but until that happens we have to at least give what Fox says some consideration.
