NCAA Game Summary - Bowling Green at Kent State

Kent, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Devareaux Manley knocked down a shot from beyond the arc just before the buzzer to lift the Kent State Golden Flashes to a 62-61 victory over the Bowling Green Falcons in a Mid-American Conference thriller at the MAC Center.
Derek Jackson provided Kent State (13-11, 4-7 MAC) a huge spark off the bench with 25 points on 8-of-11 shooting from the floor. Manley finished with 14 points as the Golden Flashes snapped a two-game losing streak.
For the Falcons (10-14, 4-7), Jehvon Clarke and Cameron Black netted 18 points each. Clarke also handed out six assists and Black pulled down a game-high nine rebounds. Anthony Henderson tallied 12 points, eight boards and three steals, but it was not enough to help Bowling Green from losing its third game in a row.
The Falcons took a 35-27 lead into the intermission after they connected on 57.7 percent of their field goal attempts in the first half. Kent State was limited to 32.1 percent efficiency from the floor and committed 12 turnovers in the opening period.
The Golden Flashes heated up to sink 46.7 percent of their shots from the floor including a 4-of-8 clip from beyond the arc. Bowling Green cooled off and made good on only 35.7 percent of its field goal tries after the break. The Falcons led, 40-27, with 18:56 remaining in regulation, but the hosts went on a 12-0 run to cut the deficit to a single point with just over 15 minutes left to play. BGSU's Spencer Parker sank a pair of free-throw attempts with only seconds showing on the clock before Manley's game-winning triple, which was assisted by Kris Brewer.
Craig Sealey, who went 1-of-6 from the field for just two points, was the only player to score off the bench for the Falcons. Kent State's reserves tallied 45 points.
