Description: Former Raiders receiver Jacoby Ford has signed with the New York Jets.
Insight: Ford's one constant is that he's been injured more than healthy and he's yet to prove he can be a full-time NFL receiver. Since being drafted in 2010, he's totaled just 57 receptions for 848 yards and three touchdowns. He does own four career kickoff returns for scores.

Description: Raiders receiver Jacoby Ford has opted to have surgery on his injured foot. He is out indefinitely.
Insight: Ford's absence should open the door for Rod Streater to play a larger role in the Oakland passing attack. He caught four passes including a two-yard touchdown in the season opener Monday night versus the Chargers.

Description: Oakland receiver Jacoby Ford won't suit up for Monday night's season opener against the Chargers. Ford has been out since mid-August with a sprained foot.
Insight: Ford has never tallied more than 470 yards in a season so don't expect him to have much of an impact in fantasy upon his return.

Description: Raiders wide receiver Jacoby Ford could miss the start of the regular season after spraining his foot in Friday night's loss to Arizona.
Insight: This same injury caused Ford to miss almost half the season last year, so it should be a while before we see the 25-year-old on a football field again. Ford has underachieved early on in his NFL career, compiling just 749 receiving yards and three touchdowns in 24 games.

Insight: This just affirms Moore's status as #1 WR in Oakland and should allow Darrius Heyward-Bey to get some targets, although, he didn't receive any and Ford went down pretty early. We like Moore as a top 20 option this week against the Vikings, who are allowing the most points to opposing WRs over the last three weeks and are without their best corner in Antoine Winfield.

Insight: The Raiders haven't detailed the extent of the injury, but hamstring injuries linger. Chaz Schilens figures to get the start and is an uninteresting fantasy start with Jason Campbell as QB.

Insight: Looks like he tweeted out to his followers that he returned. He'll be back playing everydown and looks to be the starting flanker. He should line up in the slot in three WR sets making him a solid target as a WR3 in most leagues.

Insight: Al Davis will always be in love with Darrius Heyward-Bey's speed, but Ford did more in his rookie year than Bey has in his career so far. With Jason Campbell already named the starter, Ford has solid sleeper status this summer.

Description: Raiders HC Tom Cable hinted that rookie WR Jacoby Ford could start over WR Darrius Heyward-Bey Sunday against the Chargers. SOURCE: OAKLAND TRIBUNE
Insight: Cable said he didn't know if DHB would start, which leads us to believe that Ford may be making a serious push. With two 100+ yard games in the last three weeks, Ford is just too good to be in a part-time role.
