Insight: Avila injured it when David Ross ran into him at home plate. Brayan Pena has come on to play catcher. Fox broadcaster Joe Buck noted that Don Kelly is the team's emergency catcher though the Tigers also have the option of giving up the DH and putting Victor Martinez behind the plate.
