NOTES
Loren Roberts will celebrate his 56th birthday on the first day of his title defense...Roberts shot a five-under 30 on the back nine last year to trump Fred Funk, who missed the cut at the U.S. Open at Congressional, by a single stroke. It was Roberts` 12th Champions Tour victory and he hasn`t earned one since...En-Joie hosted the B.C. Open on the PGA Tour from 1971 to 2005. Funk won that title in 1996 and finished second at this championship twice and was runner-up twice at the B.C. Open...Tom Watson is making his first trip back to En-Joie since 1976. He tied for 21st at that B.C. Open, but 35 years later, he`s back...Hal Sutton can make Champions Tour history in the first round. He`s played 86 consecutive holes without a bogey and the record is 98 holes by Morris Hatalsky in 2003...Hale Irwin is already the tour`s all-time leader in wins with 45, but he can add his name to another record. He has 202 career top-10s and is one short of Bob Charles` tour record...Golf Channel has all three rounds, but it`s tape-delayed...Next week is the Montreal Championship, which Larry Mize won last year.
