* - Defending Champion
The Champions Tour is back after a week away and while the PGA Tour moves west-to-east, the elder circuit is going the opposite direction. After a two-week stint in Florida, the Champions Tour heads to California with El Gato as the defender. Eduardo Romero posted a three-under 68 on Sunday to win by a stroke over Joey Sindelar and Mark O`Meara. This was the 100th professional title in Romero`s career, an amazing reflection of consistency and talent. The Golf Channel will carry the action for all three rounds.The Champions Tour will be off until March 26 and then, it`s the Cap Cana Championship in the Dominican Republic, which Keith Fergus captured last year.
