NOTES
Jay Haas returns as defending champion this week as the Champions Tour begins its major championship season. Haas finished at seven-over 287, which was good for a one-shot win over Bernhard Langer. Haas` total of seven-over-par 287 was the highest winning score in tournament history - by five shots. It was also the second-highest winning 72-hole score for a Champions Tour event. The Champions Tour heads to Iowa next week for the Principal Charity Classic, where Haas is again the defending champion. Last year, Haas rallied from a two-shot deficit last year to repeat as winner at Glen Oaks Country Club.
