 Kobe Bryant, G, LAL12/28/2014 5:55:00 PM
Description: Lakers guard Kobe Bryant did not play against the Mavericks on Friday, but will return for Sunday\'s contest. Insight: With no chance of a title this season, Bryant isn\'t playing the role of "warrior" who goes out no matter the conditions. Fans and fantasy owners can probably expect this in and out of the lineup for the rest of the season.
 Amare Stoudemire, F, NYK12/28/2014 12:15:00 PM
Description: Knicks forward Amare Stoudemire is doubtful for Sunday\'s game against the Trail Blazers. Insight: Stoudemire admitted this week that he is really struggling with his knee, and it seems likely he will sit out on Sunday. Check back before the tip.

 Anze Kopitar, C, LOS12/28/2014 10:32:00 AM
Description: Kings center Anze Kopitar had a goal and an assist on Saturday. Insight: Kopitar has eight goals and 17 assists this season, which is disappointing after last season\'s Cup run. Kopitar is also minus-five, which is his worst rating since 2008-2009. Last season, he was plus-34. Hopefully Kopitar can get going soon.
 Joe Pavelski, C, SJS12/28/2014 10:29:00 AM
Description: Sharks forward Joe Pavelski scored the only San Jose goal on Saturday. Insight: Pavelski scored the first goal of the game inside of 17:00 minutes left in the first period, but the Sharks wouldn\'t score again as the Kings ended the game with three straight goals. Pavelski has 17 goals and 13 assists with a plus-six rating in 36 games this season.

Josh Johnson, SP, SDP12/23/2014 10:57:00 AM
Description: Padres starter Josh Johnson signed a one-year deal with the club, according to Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports. Insight: Johnson is rehabbing from a second Tommy John surgery and isn\'t likely to be ready until around June. He hasn\'t pitched since 2013 and he\'s a longshot, to say the least, to have any fantasy value in 2015.
 Marco Scutaro, 2B, SFG12/23/2014 10:48:00 AM
Description: Giants second baseman Marco Scutaro had back surgery on Sunday to fuse the L2 and L3 vertebrae, according to Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle. Insight: Scutaro\'s recovery time is estimated at 4-6 months and at 39-years-old is likely a career-killer. He played just five games last season and should not be on fantasy radar screens for the upcoming season.
