The Bulldogs rallied to beat the Mexican All-Star team CONADEIP, 17-7, with two fourth-quarter touchdowns in the Global Kilimanjaro Bowl.

Trailing 7-3 in the fourth quarter before an enthusiastic crowd of 11,781, Drake scored the go-ahead touchdown when freshman quarterback Nick Ens, who was subbing for injured starter Mike Piatkowski and replacement Tyler Casto, connected with Joey Orlando with an 11-yard touchdown pass.

Coach Chris Creighton's Drake squad later turned a CONADEIP fumble into Patrick Cashmore's 7-yard touchdown run with 2:03 remaining.

The game is part of a 15-day trip in which Drake coaches and players have worked alongside the Mexican squad in youth camps and community service projects, and will make a climb up the 19,340-foot Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa.

On Wednesday, the teams will start the six-day climb - 4 1/2 days up and 1 1/2 days down. They will take different routes and meet at the summit, where they will hoist their respective university and national flags.
