NCAA Game Summary - Wright State at Detroit

Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - Kendall Griffin scored a team-best 15 points as
the Wright State Raiders held on to defeat the Detroit Titans, 64-62, in
Horizon League action at Calihan Hall.
Reggie Arceneaux responded with 11 points, although he shot just 5-of-15 from
the floor as the Raiders (14-5, 5-1 HL) won for the sixth time in the last
seven outings. Cole Darling contributed 10 points for the visitors as well.
The Titans (12-8, 4-3), losers of three of the last four, were paced by Doug
Anderson who scored a game-high 20 points, followed by Nick Minnerath with 12
points, but the latter shot only 2-of-11 from the field. Juwan Howard, Jr. and
Jason Calliste both tallied 10 points for the hosts.
Wright State opened the contest on a 15-3 run, the team shooting 50.0 percent
from the floor en route to a 39-30 advantage at the break.
In the second half the Raiders, who never trailed on the night, again made
good on 50 percent from the field, but Detroit closed the game by hitting on
10-of-11 at the free-throw line before suffering the two-point loss.
Detroit, which generated just two points from reserves, was outscored in the
paint by a 32-20 margin.
