Memphis, TN (Sports Network) - Will Barton tallied 18 points, 11 rebounds, and four blocks as the Memphis Tigers made easy work of the UCF Knights 84-55 in Conference USA action at FedEx Forum.
Wesley Witherspoon scored 15 points for Memphis (22-8, 12-3 C-USA), while Tarik Black added 14 points. Chris Crawford netted 11 points and Joe Jackson dished out 10 assists for the Tigers, who have won seven of eight.
For UCF (20-9, 9-6), Isaiah Sykes was the only player to score in double figures with 13 points.
Memphis shot an impressive 53.8 percent from the floor in the first half, while UCF connected on just 30.4 percent of its field goals, as the Tigers took a comfortable 33-18 lead into halftime.
The Tigers extended their advantage after the break by improving their field goal percentage to 63.3 percent, including 7-of-15 from three-point range, as they cruised to the victory.
UCF was hurt by committing a game-high 18 turnovers.
