Nguyen out for season with shoulder injury
Foxborough, MA (Sports Network) - New England Revolution midfielder Lee Nguyen underwent surgery on his right shoulder on Monday which is expected to keep him out for four months.
The 25-year-old had the procedure to correct chronic instability in his shoulder, and he will take no further part in New England's current campaign.
Nguyen joined New England in March after being waived by Vancouver and he was the only player to appear in all 30 games so far this season for the Revs as he scored five goals and added two assists in 27 starts.
