GAME NOTES: St. Bonaventure will try to earn a split of a week-long road trip, as the Bonnies make an appearance at the Ryan Center to face the Rhode Island Rams in Atlantic 10 Conference play.

Tonight's game was actually pushed back five hours due to a blizzard that hampered travel late Friday and into the night in New England.

The Bonnies are coming off a 77-58 loss at Butler on Wednesday. Demitrius Conger netted 18 points to lead the Bonnies, who have gone 3-2 on the heels of a six-game skid.

Conger is the only player in the Atlantic 10 to lead his team in points (14.3 ppg), rebounds (6.8 rpg) and assists (2.7 apg). The Bonnies have two other players averaging double figures in scoring in Chris Johnson (12.5 ppg) and Eric Mosley (10.0 ppg). Mosley is fourth in the A-10 in 3-point percentage (.439). Johnson has hit 23 straight free throws and he leads the league in free-throw percentage in conference games (24-of-25, .960).

Rhode Island will try to snap a five-game skid. The Rams, who have dropped seven of their last eight games, haven't won since posting an 82-80 overtime decision at Saint Louis on Jan. 19. Most recently, the Rams lost at UMass, 81-53, on Wednesday. Xavier Munford recorded a team-high 22 points, but also had a team-high five turnovers. Andre Malone contributed 10 points and seven boards, as the Rams launched a season-high 30 3-pointers.

Munford is second in the A-10 in scoring, as he's averaging 17.5 ppg. Nikola Malesevic (10.6 ppg), Malone (10.3 ppg) and Mike Powell (10.0 ppg) are also in double figures. Malesevic leads the team with 4.8 rebounds, but the Rams are tied for next-to-last in defensive rebounding averaging 37.5 per game.

Rhode Island has also struggled at the offensive end as it ranks last in the A-10 in scoring at 61.7 ppg. What has also hurt the Rams is their poor shooting, as they are hitting just 40.1 percent from the field, the worst mark in the conference.

What may help comfort the Rams is they're facing a team with the worst field goal percentage defense (.454) in the A-10.

Last year, the Bonnies swept the season series from URI, and they've won three straight and four of the last five meetings overall, but the offensive balance of the Rams may nudge them over the top this time around.

Sports Network Predicted Outcome: Rhode Island 67, St. Bonaventure 65
