NCAA Game Summary - Temple at Buffalo

Buffalo, NY (Sports Network) - Drew Willy threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Naaman Roosevelt on the last play of the game, lifting the Buffalo Bulls to a dramatic 30-28 victory over the Temple Owls in Mid-American Conference action at UB Stadium.
Willy passed for 348 yards and three scores for the Bulls (2-1, 1-0 MAC), who improved to 5-1 all-time versus Temple. Roosevelt finished the game with eight catches for 132 yards and the one score, while Ernest Jackson had five receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown.
Adam DiMichele had a big game for the Owls (1-2, 0-1), as he threw for 285 yards and three touchdowns, in addition to rushing for a team-high 51 yards on 12 carries. Bruce Francis was his main outlet, recording five receptions for 87 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
With just 38 seconds left in the opening quarter, the Owls grabbed the lead, as DiMichele completed a one-yard touchdown pass to Dy'Onne Crudup.
The Bulls tied the score courtesy of a Brandon Thermilus three-yard touchdown run just over five minutes into the second quarter.
Temple regained the lead with just under four minutes left to play in the opening frame, as Joe Jones plunged one yard for a score.
Buffalo would tie the score behind a nine-yard touchdown strike from Willy to Jackson with under a minute left in the second quarter.
The Owls, however, responded quickly and took a 21-14 lead on a DiMichele 24-yard touchdown pass to Francis with just six seconds remaining before the intermission.
Midway through the third quarter, the Bulls tied things up with a Willy six- yard touchdown pass to Brett Hamlin.
With just over two minutes left to play, A.J. Principe pushed Buffalo ahead on a 25-yard field goal.
Temple would rally behind a nine-play, 74-yard drive that was capped with a DiMichele 11-yard touchdown pass to Francis with just 38 seconds left.
Buffalo, however, refused to give in and won the game on a bomb from Willy to Roosevelt with no time left on the clock. The Bulls drove down the field on a five-play, 60-yard drive for the win.
For the game, the Bulls amassed 449 total yards, while the Owls managed 389 yards of offense.
