Description: Titans tight end Delanie Walker said he's "looking to catch 80 balls this year." SOURCE: titansonline.com
Insight: In his first season with the Titans, Walker caught 60 passes for 571 yards and six touchdowns in 15 games, so him catching 80 catches isn't as much of a stretch as it seems. New Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt worked with Antonio Gates in San Diego last year and compared Walker to Gates in January. Walker is going undrafted in 12-team mocks on fantasyfootballcalculator.com, but he could be a low-end TE1.

Description: Titans tight end Delanie Walker (concussion) practiced Wednesday, according to Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean.
Insight: Walker had emerged as one of Ryan Fitzpatrick's top targets with 19 catches for 199 yards and two scores between Weeks 10 and 12 before suffering a concussion in Week 13 and missing Week 14. The Cardinals have allowed 4.0 more fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends than any other team in the NFL this season, which puts Walker on the TE1 radar this week.

Insight: Walker had emerged as one of Ryan Fitzpatrick's top targets with 19 catches for 199 yards and two scores between Weeks 10 and 12. Craig Stevens is expected to start in Walker's place.

Description: Titans tight end Delanie Walker (concussion) was not able to practice Thursday, his second straight day on the sidelines
Insight: Walker will have to pass concussion tests before he's cleared to play Sunday against the Broncos and that is looking less and less likely. Prior to his concussion, Walker had emerged as one of Ryan Fitzpatrick's top targets and had 19 catches for 199 yards and two scores from Weeks 10-12.

Description: According to ESPN's John Clayton, Titans tight end Delanie Walker has been ruled out for Sunday's game due to a concussion.
Insight: Walker emerged as a decent fantasy option for tight-end needy owners over the previous three games, catching 19 of his 27 targets for 199 yards and two touchdowns. He'll finish with one catch for five yards Sunday.

Description: Titans tight end Delanie Walker left the game against the Colts in the first quarter with concussion symptoms. His return is questionable.
Insight: Walker had 15 catches over the past two games and was a low-end fantasy option.

Description: Titans tight end Delanie Walker missed Thursday's practice due to turf toe but says if he practices Friday as he expects to do, he'll play Sunday.

Description: Titans tight end Delanie Walker has been dealing with a knee injury from a June OTA and was placed on the active PUP list Wednesday.
Insight: Walker's fantasy value is likely to take a hit until he proves he's healthy. The Titans have a crowded receiving corps and Walker was already going to struggle to get enough targets for fantasy relevance and if he's less than 100 percent that concern goes even higher.

3/12/2013 5:00:00 PM
Description: Tight end Delanie Walker has reached an agreement in principle on a four-year deal with the Tennessee Titans.
Insight: Walker served a variety of roles for San Franciscom including blocking tight end and fullback. His signing could be a signal that Tennessee won't bring back free agent Jared Cook.

Description: San Francisco backup tight end Delanie Walker has been a better option than starter Vernon Davis over the last seven games.
Insight: With Colin Kaepernick as the starting quarterback since Week 11, Walker has posted 14 receptions for 255 yards and two scores to 12-144-1 for Davis. Neither is great, but Walker is the better of the two options.

Description: While 49ers tight end Delanie Walker would start if Vernon Davis (concussion) cannot play on Sunday, CSN Bay Area expects Garrett Celek (younger brother of Brent) to see extended playing time as well.
Insight: Walker has 19 receptions for 294 yards and three scores this season. However, he shouldn't be started in fantasy leagues even if Davis is absent Sunday; the Niners haven't even used Davis that much over the past five games (five catches) and Celek will probably get some snaps as well.

Insight: Walker seems to be in serious pain, rolling around on the sidelines with an apparent ankle injury.
