Description: Charlie Frye (right wrist) is headed to see a hand specialist.
Insight: Frye won't have a job even on Oakland's roster, so it's hard to imagine him catching on anywhere else. (

Description: Raiders QB Charlie Frye is expected to see a hand specialist about his wrist injury. SOURCE: CONTRA COSTA TIMES
Insight: Frye was on the roster bubble before the injury. Bruce Gradkowski and Kyle Boller should now both surpass him as Jason Campbell's backups.

Description: Frye completed 26-of-45 passes for 333 yards with no touchdowns and three interceptions on Sunday against the Browns.
Insight: Frye threw for a career-high in yards but failed to throw a touchdown pass for a second straight game. He has a tough matchup against the Ravens in Week 17. (

Description: The Raiders announced on Wednesday that Frye will be the starting quarterback in Week 16 against the Browns.

Description: The Raiders have signed Frye, giving them six quarterbacks on their current roster.
Insight: Unfortunately, Frye doesn't raise the talent level of that group at all. (
10/17/2008 8:11:00 AM
Description: After taking limited reps on Wednesday, Seneca Wallace was the main guy piloting the first-team offense in Thursday's practice. He's expected to start Sunday night ahead of Frye.
Insight: Sorry to all you fantasy owners who were eager to start Frye after his dominating 83-yard passing performance against the Packers last week. (
10/13/2008 1:52:00 PM
Description: Frye had a whopping 83 yards passing against the Packers in Week 6 and was sacked three times. He never seemed comfortable in the pocket against a very thin Packer defensive unit.
Insight: Frye is simply not a fantasy option. Either Matt Hasselbeck or Seneca Wallace are decent fantasy plays, but Frye is not. (
