Description: According to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune, via Twitter, the Bears intend to re-sign Tinoisamoa (right knee).
Insight: Tinoisamoa is recovering from knee surgery, which should keep his price down on the open market. He can be a valuable veteran for the Bears's linebacking corp. (SportsBuff.com)

Out10/22/2009 10:58:00 AM
Description: Tinoisamoa (right knee) has been place on IR, ending his 2009 season.
Insight: Tinoisamoa returned last week against Atlanta after leaving Week 1's game with an injury to the same knee, only to re-injure himself and now he requires surgery. Losing Tinoisamoa is another blow to the Bears' depth in the linebacking corp. (SportsBuff.com)

Description: According to the Chicago Sun Times, Tinoisamoa (right knee) may have suffered a "significant MCL injury" in Sunday night's loss to Atlanta.
Insight: This is the same knee Tinoisamoa injured in Week 1 which kept him out of action until Sunday. His status for Week 7 and beyond is in serious doubt. (SportsBuff.com)

Description: According to the Daily Herald, Tinoisamoa (sprained PCL-right knee) is expected to start this week against Atlanta after returning to practice on Monday.

Out9/14/2009 3:34:00 PM
Description: According to the Chicago Tribune, Tinoisamoa (sprained PCL-right knee) is expected to miss "a few weeks" after suffering a sprained PCL on Sunday night against Green Bay.
Insight: The Bears are quickly getting thin at LB. Nick Roach and Jamar Williams will both likely see a lot of playing time now. (SportsBuff.com)

Steady6/28/2009 1:07:00 PM
Description: Tinoisamoa will start at weakside linebacker, according to ESPN.com's John Clayton.
Insight: Tinoisamoa beat out incumbent Hunter Hillenmeyer for the job. The six-year veteran led the Rams in tackles last year, but will probably not lead the Bears with Brian Urlacher and Lance Briggs joining him in the linebacking corps. (SportsBuff.com)
