Description: blogger Christopher Smith reports via Twitter that the team has placed WR Craig "Buster" Davis on IR, ending his season.
Insight: Davis battled through a rib injury earlier in the season, but it appears as if his groin problem is what landed him on IR. While the Bolts are expecting Malcolm Floyd to return after the bye and Vincent Jackson in late November, Davis' season-ending injury is still a blow to a hurting receiving corps. He likely won't be back with the team after this season. (

Description: Davis caught three passes for 82 yards in Sunday's loss. His 10 catches in three games easily make up the largest three-game total in Davis' four seasons.
Insight: The former first-round pick is finally carving out an offensive role. We'll see how it might be impacted if Vincent Jackson ever comes back. (

Insight: If he can stay healthy, then he has a shot at having some decent fantasy value as the Chargers? third receiver. (

Insight: Davis is in a battle to stay on the roster at this point. Missing an extended period of time with concussion issues is not going to help him. (

Description: Former first-round pick Craig Davis is currently the only veteran receiver at Chargers OTAs.
Insight: Anyone else find it ironic that Davis usually goes by the nickname "Buster"? Once the receiving corps fills back up, he'll be on the roster bubble. (

Description: Davis caught six passes for 52 yards and rushed one time for four yards on Sunday against the Redskins.
Insight: Davis returned to action for the first time all season and he quickly had a huge game. He has limited fantasy value. (
