Description: Redskins wide receiver Donte' Stallworth is dealing with a hamstring that his slowed him in camp.
Insight: An injury to Stallworth ... that's as rare as finding sand at the beach. He has little-to-no fantasy value even if he makes the final 53-man roster which is questionable.

Description: The Ravens are not expected to retain WR Donte' Stallworth for the 2011 season after drafting WR Torrey Smith and WR Tandon Doss. SOURCE: CSN BALTIMORE
Insight: T.J. Houshmandzadeh will also get the boot. Stallworth was supposed to use the 2010 season to rehab his image after he faced manslaughter charges in 2009, but a broken foot suffered in the preseason knocked him out for the first half of the year. He finished with two catches for 82 yards. Stallworth may have to look for work in another league in order to play football in 2011.

Description: Ravens WR Donte' Stallworth posted 34 yards in his season debut against the Falcons in Week 10, but he didn't catch a single pass.
Insight: Stallworth rushed two times for 34 yards because the Ravens wanted to utilize his speed in space. Both times he earned a first down, so don't be surprised to see him more involved in the game plan in weeks to come.

Description: Ravens WR Donte' Stallworth's role is expected to continue to expand. SOURCE: BALTIMORE SUN
Insight: Stallworth didn't see a stat Sunday, but John Harbaugh liked what he saw when Stallworth was on the field, saying "he's a guy that's going to be a real threat vertically, and when I say that, it's down that way, but it's also across the field." Stallworth will push T.J. Houshmandzadeh for No. 3 snaps, but won't put a dent in the starting lineup.
11/7/2010 10:01:00 PM
Description: Stallworth returned Sunday from his broken left foot but didn't see a single target.
Insight: It's tough to imagine Stallworth finding relevance from here on, with three veteran receivers already in front of him. (

Description: Ravens WR Donte' Stallworth (foot) is still on target to play against the Dolphins this weekend. SOURCE: BALTIMORE SUN
Insight: Stallworth came out of Monday's practice, his first full practice since foot surgery, a little sore, but he should be fine by the weekend. He doesn't offer much fantasy value as a situational deep threat option and, possibly, a return specialist.
8/29/2010 11:01:00 AM
Description: Donte' Stallworth is out two months after suffering a broken left foot in Saturday's preseason game against the Giants.
Insight: Stallworth's comeback will be seriously derailed here. Mark Clayton will now escape a roster cut. (
5/31/2010 7:22:00 PM
Description: The Ravens have tried Donte' Stallworth on punt returns during OTAs.
Insight: Stallworth is expected to continue to be the Ravens' third receiver. However, with ball-hogs Anquan Boldin and Derrick Mason around, that may not mean much for his fantasy prospects. (
5/6/2010 9:36:00 PM
Description: Donte' Stallworth is penciled in ahead of Mark Clayton as the Ravens' third receiver.
Insight: Stallworth does bring a speed element to the Ravens that Clayton has never been able to deliver. However, Stallworth has shown himself to being prone to injury, so he's no lock to play the full season, either. (
2/21/2010 8:09:00 AM
Description: reports that the Ravens have officially signed Stallworth to a one-year, $900,000 contract.
Insight: Stallworth missed the entire 2009 season due to suspension. In 2008, he had only 17 receptions for 170 yards and one touchdown. He will have to work hard to have a fantasy impact next season. (
2/17/2010 1:31:00 AM
Description: reports Rams' head coach Steve Spagnuolo may be open to taking a look at Stallworth.
Insight: Stallworth was recently released by the Browns after being suspended for the 2009 season after pleading guilty to DUI manslaughter last summer. He may be able to find a team willing to give him a chance, but he will have a lot to prove. (
2/11/2010 11:50:00 AM

2/9/2010 8:56:00 AM
Description: reports that the Browns have officially released Stallworth on Monday.
Insight: Stallworth was suspended all of last season and will have to hope a team gives him a shot this season. (
2/5/2010 8:31:00 PM
Description: reports Commissioner Roger Goodell said Stallworth will be reinstated after the Super Bowl.
Insight: The Browns still own Stallworth's rights, but since he is due a $1 million roster bonus on March 20 (according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer), they are unlikely to hang onto him. He may not get a lot of interest on the open market, but someone may give him the league minimum and at least a chance. (
