Insight: Walker came out of the gate strong and has maintained a solid level of play all season. He came into Friday's game averaging 17.4 ppg on 42.2 percent shooting, which is nearly six percentage points higher than he shot as a rookie.

Insight: Kemba is the catalyst for the Bobcats and when he plays well, good things tend to happen. Hence Charlotte's 88-83 victory on Wednesday night.

Insight: Wednesday was arguably Kemba's best game of the season and maybe the best he's had in two seasons as a professional. The 34-point outing gives Walker a combined 79 points over his last three contests (26.3 ppg).

Insight: Overall it has been a successful sophomore season so far for Walker. He's averaging 17.2 points, 5.6 assists, 3.4 rebounds, 1.9 steals and 1.3 threes and shooting nearly six percentage points better than last season through 52 games.

Insight: Walker has been dealing with an ankle injury this week but it doesn't appear to be a serious issue. He's a top-notch fantasy option in a much-improved sophomore season.

Insight: Walker has been much improved this season, shooting 42.5 percent from the field and scoring 17.4 ppg (36.6 and 12.1 last season). Ramon Sessions has played well in 26 minutes per game as Walker's backup and would be in line for an even larger role. Walker's return is questionable.

Insight: Walker's production has slipped as of late. He came into Saturday's game averaging 14.6 points on 39.9 percent shooting with 3.6 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.5 steals in his last 10 games. He contributed 18.8 points on 43.9 percent shooting with 6.1 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 2.0 steals over his first 25 games.

Description: Like most of his teammates, Bobcats point guard Kemba Walker struggled mightily Friday night at Brooklyn. Walker only shot 2-of-10 from the floor for five points with two assists and three turnovers.
Insight: Walker was born in the Bronx and played high school basketball at Rice in Manhattan but his return to New York did not go well Friday. The Bobcats shot just 28-of-73 (.384) as a team with 11 assists and 12 turnovers in the game.

Description: After a hiccup Saturday against Denver (eight points on 4-of-15 shooting), Charlotte guard Kemba Walker got back on track with 27 points Wednesday in a loss to the Heat.
Insight: Walker's strong performance wasn't enough to prevent the Bobcats from losing their 16th in a row. The last time Charlotte won was against Washington back on November 24th.

Insight: Walker's shooting percentage dropped into the 30s due to his cold streak. Fortunately the second-year PG has found other ways to contribute even when his shot isn't falling.
