Ginobili to stay with Spurs for 2 more years
San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) - Manu Ginobili announced Wednesday via his Twitter feed that he is staying with the Spurs for two more years.
"Thrilled to announce that as I always hoped, I'm gonna stay with the @spurs for two more years," Ginobili tweeted.
Financial terms of the deal were not announced by Ginobili, who averaged 11.8 points, 4.6 assists and 3.4 rebounds in 60 games this past season. In the playoffs, the Argentine averaged 11.5 points, 5.0 assists and 3.7 rebounds as the Spurs advanced to the NBA Finals, where they lost to the Heat in seven games.
