Description: Athletics starter Jarrod Parker had another meltdown Sunday against the Tigers and has a 10.80 ERA through three turns.
Insight: Having no command against the merciless Tigers' lineup is a recipe for disaster. He still has a lot of upside but shouldn't be started until he begins to show signs of a turnaround.

Insight: Parker, a 23-year-old rookie, held opponents to a .216 BAA in the first half, but he has faded as of late and is a candidate to lose his spot in the rotation when A.J. Griffin and Brett Anderson are ready to come off the DL.

Description: Athletics starter Jarrod Parker picked up his sixth victory of the season Sunday against the Twins despite allowing four earned runs on nine hits in six innings.
Insight: Parker, a 23-year-old rookie, held opponents to a .216 BAA in the first half. However, he's allowed nine earned runs over his last two starts and likely will wear down in the second half as his innings accumulate, so fantasy owners would be wise to test his trade value now.
