Description: Yankees shortstop Eduardo Nunez left Sunday's game against Oakland because of a rib cage injury. SOURCE: Dan Barbarisi, Wall Street Journal
Insight: His MRI came back clean so it doesn't sound like Nunez will have to go on the DL. He'll probably be kept out as a precaution Tuesday versus Colorado.

Description: Anthony McCarron from the New York Daily News doesn't expect Yankees shortstop Eduardo Nunez to be back in the lineup until Tuesday.
Insight: He injured his wrist Friday against Baltimore. McCarron hinted that manager Joe Girardi could opt to use Nunez as a pinch runner over the next couple of days but that's not enough to warrant a start in fantasy. Leave him on the bench until further notice.

Description: Yankees infielder Eduardo Nunez was left off the team's ALCS roster.
Insight: Nunez went 1-for-5 during the Division Series and actually got the start at DH in Game 2. Righthander Cody Eppley will take Nunez's place on the roster.

Description: Eduardo Nunez has been sent down to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Insight: Nunez' defense is abysmal, making him a poor fit for the Yankees' super utility role. He's being demoted so he can improve his defense by playing middle infield every day. Those using him in AL-only leagues can safely drop him and look for other options.
