GAME NOTES: The Virginia Commonwealth Rams shoot for their 11th consecutive victory on Saturday when they travel to face St. Bonaventure in an Atlantic 10 Conference affair at Reilly Center.

VCU was again impressive on Wednesday against Dayton, as Treveon Graham scored 24 points in the team's 74-62 triumph. Graham was 7-of-12 from the floor and a perfect 10-of-10 from the free-throw line for the Rams, who have won 13 of their 16 games this season.

Juvonte Reddic tallied 14 points and nine rebounds, while Troy Daniels added 12 points in the victory.

St. Bonaventure, meanwhile, is heading in the opposite direction with losses in four straight following a 78-59 shellacking at the hands of George Washington in its A-10 opener last Saturday.

Chris Johnson paced the Bonnies with 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting as they lost their fourth consecutive game. Demetrius Conger scored 11 points, while Eric Mosley added 10 points off the bench.

SBU could get itself right on Saturday, as it has beaten VCU both times it has faced the Rams, but hasn't seen them since 1979. Of course, this is VCU's first year in the A-10 after spending the last 17 years in the Colonial Athletic Association.

St. Bonaventure struggled from long range on Wednesday as it shot just 17 percent (3-18) from beyond the 3-point line. The bench was also outscored, 34-12, marking the first time this year it has been outscored in a game and lost (3-1). On the season, the Bonnies are typically much better at the offensive end of the floor, shooting 43.4 percent in averaging 72.4 ppg, but they have also been vulnerable at the defensive end, allowing opponents to net 70.9 ppg. Conger has been the team's driving force, putting up 13.6 ppg, 6.9 rpg, and 2.9 apg, all team-highs. Johnson adds 13.4 ppg to the mix, and Eric Mosley (10.2 ppg) has been spectacular from 3-point range, making 33-of-74 bombs (.446). For the most part, the Bonnies have done a decent job taking care of the basketball as they turn it over 12.9 times per contest in staking claim to a plus-2.3 turnover margin.

Shaka Smart's VCU squad has excelled at both ends of the floor this season and is certainly one of the favorites in the A-10. VCU boasts an amazing +18.8 scoring margin, averaging 78.2 ppg, while holding foes to a meager 59.4 ppg. Four Rams are averaging double digits, led by Graham's 15.4 ppg. Troy Daniels (13.8 ppg), Reddic (13.6 ppg, 7.3 rpg) and Rob Brandenberg (10.6 ppg) are valuable contributors as well.

The Rams should certainly roll in this one. The home crowd for the Bonnies won't matter, as they just won't be able to keep up with VCU's balance at both ends.

Sports Network Predicted Outcome: VCU 79, St. Bonaventure 62
