Description: Ottawa goalie Craig Anderson made 28 saves Saturday for his fourth shutout of the season.
Insight: Fantasy owners have to be disappointed with how Anderson (24-16-8, 3.06 GAA) has performed this season but at least he can go out on a high note after this outing. Anderson's four clean slates this season are his most since 2009-10 when he played for the Avalanche.

Insight: Anderson says he feels like he would be hurting the team if he tried to play and still doesn't have a firm timetable for his return. The goalie has recovered from getting hit high in the chest by a Shea Weber slapshot on March 10, but he admitted he's still feeling the effects of a collision with teammate Milan Michalek from that same game.

1/22/2014 9:37:00 AM
Description: Senators goalie Craig Anderson came up with a 34-save shutout Tuesday at Washington.
Insight: Anderson came in with a 2.81 GAA in his previous six games and was playing a Capitals team skating without Alex Ovechkin, so fantasy owners shouldn't read too much into the shutout. Anderson still has just a 3.09 GAA and .905 SV% this season.

12/23/2013 10:29:00 PM
Description: Senators goalie Craig Anderson blocked all 27 shots the Penguins sent his way Monday for his second shutout of the season (first since the first game of the season).
Insight: Anderson has been dreadful this season, posting a 3.42 GAA and .897 SV% in 24 starts going into Monday's game, so shutting out an offense the caliber of Pittsburgh's is huge for the 32-year-old.

Cold11/12/2013 10:15:00 PM
Description: Senators goalie Craig Anderson allowed five goals on 31 shots in his return from a neck injury Tuesday against the Flyers, one of the lowest scoring teams in hockey.
Insight: Anderson better pick up his play to avoid losing starts to youngster Robin Lehner, who is 3-2-2 with a 2.13 GAA and a .945 SV% and played well while Anderson was out of action for more than a week.

11/11/2013 4:52:00 PM
Description: Senators coach Paul MacLean said that Craig Anderson is ready to return from his neck injury. He'll start Tuesday against the Flyers.
Insight: "Craig Anderson is the No. 1 goalie and he's ready to play," MacLean said, according to Bruce Garrioach of the Ottawa Sun. Anderson is 4-4-2 with a 3.14 GAA and a .912 SV%, but he'll hold onto the starting job over Robin Lehner, who is 3-2-2 with a 2.13 GAA and a .945 SV%.

Description: Craig Anderson had 35 saves in a shutout of Buffalo Friday in Ottawa's first game of the season.

5/24/2013 11:00:00 PM
Description: Senators goalie Craig Anderson, who led the NHL in GAA and SV% during the regular season, allowed 20 goals in just five games against the Penguins in Ottawa's second-round loss.

5/23/2013 10:21:00 AM
Description: Wednesday wasn't a great day at the office for Senators goalie Craig Anderson. Head coach Paul MacLean pulled Anderson in the third period after he allowed six goals on 38 shots.
Insight: It was actually a close game heading into the third but that's when the Penguins really began to wreak havoc with four goals over an eight minute span. Despite his struggles, we'd expect Anderson to be in net again for Friday night's Game 5 in Pittsburgh.

5/20/2013 11:48:00 AM
Description: Ottawa goalie Craig Anderson was stellar against the Penguins in Game 3, stopping 49 of 50 shots over 87-plus minutes.
Insight: Anderson gave up three goals on 21 shots in Game 2 and was replaced just 21 minutes into the game, so this effort is a massive improvement. He'll need to continue to play at this level if the Senators are to win and advance.
