Insight: Landeskog will return to the lineup Saturday against Los Angeles. Landeskog notched 22 goals as a rookie last season so obviously this kid can play. He's still available in almost 49 percent of ESPN leagues so now would be a great time to scoop him up.

Insight: He has missed nine games to date. This was a big blow to fantasy owners and the Avalanche as much is expected from the second-year winger after he posted 52 points last season.

Description: Avalanche left wing Gabriel Landeskog won the Calder Trophy as the NHL's Rookie of the Year on Wednesday.
Insight: Landeskog collected 52 points in 2011-12, tying him with Edmonton's Ryan Nugent-Hopkins for the most among NHL rookies. The 19-year-old appears to have a very bright future ahead of him.
