Hurricanes steal win from Flyers in OT

Raleigh, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Manny Malhotra scored the game winner at 2:40 of overtime as the Carolina Hurricanes rallied for a 2-1 win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday.

Jordan Staal had tied the game with 52.3 seconds to play then took the win in overtime thanks to a turnover by Mark Streit.

Streit tried to carry the puck into the Hurricanes end through the middle but was knocked off the puck.

Ron Hainsey grabbed the disc in his own end and fired it up the middle to Malhotra, who was behind the defense and went to the backhand before snapping it past Steve Mason for the win.
