Notes:
Was named to the All-SEC Second Team this past season after leading South Carolina in receiving for the second straight year...Rice, just a sophomore who was an All-SEC First Team member last year, reeled in 64 passes for 951 yards for the Gamecocks during the regular season, both of which rank third on the school's all-time single-season list...Playing just two seasons for USC, Rice finished with 2,233 yards in his career and is the program's all-time leader with 22 touchdown receptions...Tied Sterling Sharpe for the school record with 10 100-yard receiving games and established a new standard for TD catches in asingle game after grabbing five versus an overmatched Florida Atlantic squad...Rice certainly benefited from playing under head coach Steve Spurrier who likes to throw the ball early and often no matter the opponent...Clearly Rice is a talent that still has the potential to get better, showing great quickness to go along with his long body, but he needs to be more precise in his route running and show more hunger for the ball in certain situations.
