Description: NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says that the Chiefs are no longer looking to trade offensive tackle Branden Albert.
Insight: The Chiefs almost had a deal in place to trade Albert to Miami but in the end, the Dolphins weren't willing to give away their second round draft pick. Kansas City gave Albert the franchise tag earlier this offseason.

Description: According to ESPN's John Clayton, Miami would be willing to give up the 54th pick in the draft for Chiefs tackle Branden Albert.
Insight: But it doesn't sound like they'd part with the 42nd pick, which is likely what it will take for Kansas City to pull the trigger. The two sides still have another 24 hours to hammer out a deal before the second round of the draft gets underway.

Out10/18/2009 10:24:00 AM
Description: The Chiefs will be without their starting left tackle today at Washington.
Insight: That certainly won't help an offense that already has enough issues. It's just another reason to not play Matt Cassel. (SportsBuff.com)
