Description: We thought Donald Driver was retiring. Apparently not. The former Green Bay receiver said he'll be ready if the Packers call him this season. SOURCE: Ty Dunne, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
Insight: The Packers already have a pretty stacked receiving corps so there's really no reason for them to bring Driver back. Driver's last productive fantasy season came in 2009 when he hauled in 70 catches for 1,061 yards and six touchdowns.

1/31/2013 2:59:00 PM
Description: Longtime Packers receiver Donald Driver announced his retirement on Thursday.
Insight: Driver is a former seventh-round pick who ended up becoming the Packers all-time leader in receptions (743) and receiving yardage (10,137). He dropped on the depth chart this season and was inactive in the playoffs so he probably realized it was time to hang it up instead of trying to catch on with another organization.

12/2/2012 12:18:00 PM
Description: Packers receiver Donald Driver is inactive for Sunday's game against Minnesota.
Insight: Driver has always been an Aaron Rodgers favorite, but the Packers haven't used him much because of all the talent they have at wideout. With the return of Greg Jennings, Driver isn't likely to be a factor in fantasy lineups for the remainder of the season.

10/28/2012 12:43:00 PM
Description: Packers receiver Donald Driver will be the No. 3 receiver this week with Greg Jennings and Jordy Nelson sidelined by injury.
Insight: Driver has always been an Aaron Rodgers favorite, but the Packers haven't used him much because of all the talent they have at wideout. He might get a half dozen looks in Week 8 and be a low-end fantasy value.

9/12/2012 11:45:00 AM
Description: Packers receiver Donald Driver was on the field for just three plays in the season opener against San Francisco.
Insight: Driver has always been an Aaron Rodgers favorite, but the Packers have so much talent at receiver in Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson, James Jones and Randall Cobb that Driver isn't likely to get much more time ... barring multiple injuries.

5/30/2012 12:01:00 PM
Description: Packers receiver Donald Driver has restructured his deal with the Packers.
Insight: Driver has always been an Aaron Rodgers favorite, but the Packers have so much talent at receiver in Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson, James Jones and Randall Cobb that Driver is the team's No. 5 wideout and won't have much value this season.

6/9/2011 2:34:00 PM
Description: Packers WR Donald Driver said he's fine that his teammates haevn't participated in large-scale informal workouts during the lockout, and maybe that's because they are still basking in the glow of their Super Bowl victory. SOURCE: NFL GRIDIRON GAB
Insight: 'We're just enjoying having the feeling of winning the Super Bowl. We haven't had the opportunity just to celebrate like we want to,' he said. The team will hold a private ceremony June 16 to give players their Super Bowl rings, according to a report in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

2/24/2011 12:03:00 PM
Description: Driver has maintained his stated goal of playing until he turns 40 and said he has no thoughts of retiring this year.
Insight: Play as long as you want and can get paid, Donald. You don't look very good for fantasy at this point, though. Of course, even Jerry Rice finished his career as a fantasy non-option. (RapidDraft.com)

2/18/2011 11:04:00 AM
Description: ESPN.com reports Driver has no intention of retiring any time soon.
Insight: Driver stated a goal of playing until age 40, which seems a little unrealistic since he just turned 36 and battled injuries throughout 2010. (RapidDraft.com)

2/17/2011 5:45:00 PM
Description: Despite rumors, Packers WR Donald Driver says he's not going to retire anytime soon. SOURCE: ESPN.COM
Insight: "My goal has always been that I was going to play until I'm 40 ... I feel good. I feel like I haven't lost anything." Having just turned 36, we aren't sure Driver will be able to player another four years after lower-body injuries have plagued him. He could even be pushed for the starting job as soon as this year by either Jordy Nelson or James Jones.

2/8/2011 10:04:00 AM
Description: Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports Driver (left ankle) also suffered a knee sprain in the Super Bowl along with his high ankle sprain.
Insight: Driver battled nagging inujuries all season, and at age 36 that may only grow worse. (RapidDraft.com)

2/4/2011 1:11:00 PM
Description: Packers HC Mike McCarthy said he'd be "shocked" if WR Donald Driver (quad) doesn't play in the Super Bowl. SOURCE: TWITTER
Insight: Jones is dealing with a "tweak" and will rest in Friday's practice, but he will play Sunday. However, at less than 100 percent, we doubt Aaron Rodgers looks his way much against the Steelers.

2/4/2011 9:04:00 AM
Description: ESPN.com reports Driver (quad) was added to Thursday's injury report with a quad injury, but is still expected to play on Sunday.
Insight: Driver has been battling this injury for awhile, and this may be an indication he aggravated it recently. (RapidDraft.com)

1/11/2011 3:11:00 PM
Description: Packers WR Donald Driver (knee) was back at practice Tuesday. SOURCE: MILWAUKEE JOURNAL-SENTINEL
Insight: Driver appeared to be in a lot of pain when coming off the field against the Eagles, but it ended up only being a bruise. He should be fine against the Falcons.

12/12/2010 6:54:00 PM
Description: Packers WR Donald Driver caught just two passes for 12 yards in Sunday's Week 14 loss at Detroit.
Insight: Driver led the team in targets with nine, but with Matt Flynn slinging it all over the field and NOT Aaron Rodgers, it's not surprising not many passes were caught.

12/6/2010 12:00:00 PM
Description: Driver had four catches for 73 yards and a touchdown against the 49ers on Sunday.
Insight: Driver looks to be healthy now, particularly on his touchdown catch and run on Sunday. (RapidDraft.com)

11/24/2010 3:01:00 PM
Description: Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports Driver (quad) only participated in the walkthrough portion of Wednesday's practice.
Insight: Driver returned to action last week against the Vikings, and had four catches for 38 yards. He is not a good fantasy option right now. (RapidDraft.com)

11/19/2010 1:50:00 PM
Description: Packers WR Donald Driver (quadricep) was back at practice Friday. SOURCE: TWITTER
Insight: We are expecting him to be limited. If you still have Driver on your roster, don't count on him playing much this week against the Vikings. He could be relegated to No. 3 duties behind James Jones.

11/18/2010 5:05:00 PM
Description: Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports Driver (quad) will try to graduate to a full practice on Friday.
Insight: Driver has been limited the last two days, and seems to be making progress. He is not a good fantasy option even if he is active. (RapidDraft.com)

11/18/2010 2:54:00 PM
Description: Packers WR Donald Driver (quad) was limited in Thursday's practice. SOURCE: TWITTER
Insight: Driver did some jogging and running on the side, but we are hoping, for James Jones owners, that he misses another game against the Vikings.
