Description: Hornets center Robin Lopez had 15 points, nine rebounds, one steal and four blocks Wednesday at Utah.
Insight: Lopez has played 71 minutes over his last two games after getting less than 20 in three straight. While New Orleans' four-man rotation at power forward and center limits his value, Lopez' 11.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.7 blocks and .549/.782 shooting percentages fit in on any fantasy roster.

12/30/2012 12:38:00 PM
Description: While 5.3 rebounds per game leave a lot to be desired from a 7-footer, Hornets center Robin Lopez' 12 ppg, 2.1 bpg and .560/.795 shooting percentages work on any fantasy roster.
Insight: Lopez is playing nearly 27 minutes per game as New Orleans' starting center. While the Hornets have three capable big men in Lopez, Anthony Davis and Ryan Anderson, coach Monty Williams is getting them all plenty of playing time.

12/26/2012 10:34:00 PM
Description: Usually it's his brother Brook who gets all the headlines but Wednesday it was Robin Lopez who stole the show. The New Orleans big man went off for 29 points in a 97-94 win over the Magic.
Insight: Lopez was the anti-Dwight Howard, connecting on 11-of-12 free throw attempts. Despite Lopez's dominance on the offensive end, he left a lot to be desire in terms of rebounding. Collecting only three boards in 33 minutes is borderline pathetic for a 7-footer.

12/20/2012 11:53:00 AM
Description: Hornets center Robin Lopez scored 22 points with nine rebounds and two blocks on 10-of-16 shooting Wednesday versus the Clippers. The points were a season high.
Insight: Lopez' ppg (11.2) and rpg (5.4) leave a lot to be desired but he's still a valuable mid-level fantasy center due to his 2.0 bpg, .537 shooting percentage and .780 free-throw percentage.

12/8/2012 10:12:00 PM
Description: Hornets center Robin Lopez scored 20 points with eight boards and a block Saturday against the Heat.
Insight: Lopez only scored two points Friday against Memphis but that was his only single-digit scoring effort in his last six games. With a .542 shooting percentage, .772 free-throw percentage and 1.9 blocks per game, Lopez offers plenty of value to fantasy owners.

12/3/2012 10:47:00 PM
Description: Hornets center Robin Lopez scored 21 points on 8-of-10 shooting with four rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block Monday versus Milwaukee.
Insight: Since going 3-of-17 from the field but making 15-of-17 from the foul line for 21 points on Nov. 21, Lopez has shot 60 percent (33-of-55) from the field in six games.

11/22/2012 11:50:00 AM
Description: Hornets center Robin Lopez made just 3-of-17 from the field Wednesday against the Pacers but hit 15-of-17 at the charity stripe en route to 21 points, 13 rebounds, two steals and four blocks.
Insight: Lopez topped his season highs in points, rebounds, shots attempted, free throws attempted and free throws made Wednesday while tying his season best in blocked shots.

11/2/2012 10:35:00 PM
Description: Hornets center Robin Lopez scored 19 points with seven rebounds Friday against the Jazz.
Insight: Since the two joined the league, Brook has been the only Lopez brother worth owning in fantasy. However, Robin is someone to watch this season. He's locked into New Orleans' starting center spot.

7/28/2012 9:07:00 PM
Description: The Suns shipped center Robin Lopez to the Hornets as part of a three-team trade on Friday.
Insight: Lopez didn't have a chance to start with the Suns in 2011-12, but he could have that opportunity next season in New Orleans. Look for him to improve upon the 5.4 ppg and 3.3 rpg he averaged last year.

12/21/2010 12:12:00 AM
Description: Robin Lopez had his second very nice game in a row with 14 points, seven boards, and a block in 24 minutes.
Insight: Unfortunately, it is tough to recommend Ro-Lo with Martin Gortat waiting in the wings. It's tough to add big men though the waiver wire, so if there is nothing else that seems promising, then feel free to add him until Gortat takes over.

12/13/2010 10:04:00 AM
Description: Lopez's rehabilitation from knee surgery is complete, according to the Arizona Republic. The Sun center should be back on the court early this week.
Insight: Lopez is likely to start right away and that means either Earl Barron or Channing Frye will head back to the bench. He was averaged 5.3 points and 4.3 rebounds before getting hurt. (RapidDraft.com)

12/8/2010 11:02:00 AM
Description: Lopez is making progress in his rehabilitation from knee surgery, according to the Arizona Republic. He is participating in one-on-one and two-on-two drills.
Insight: Lopez has missed 12 games and the Suns have been forced to start Channing Frye and Earl Barron in the frontcourt to make up for his loss. (RapidDraft.com)

11/15/2010 12:05:00 PM
Description: Lopez sprained his left knee against the Lakers and only played six minutes.
Insight: Lopez has played no more than 19 minutes in any game in November, so his fantasy appeal has been limited. Channing Frye gets a boost if Lopez is out for any length of time. (RapidDraft.com)

10/30/2010 12:04:00 PM
Description: Lopez had his best game of the early season with 18 points and 14 rebounds in a loss to the Lakers.
Insight: Lopez is the only true center on the Suns' roster. He should be a force on the boards, but his point totals will be inconsistent. (RapidDraft.com)

10/30/2010 12:10:00 AM
Description: Robin Lopez put his two ugly games behind him as he erupted for 18 points, 14 rebounds, and a block in 32 minutes.
Insight: Both of the 'Pez Dispensers had a good night tonight. Robin had a successful postseason in the series against the Lakers last year, too. Alvin Gentry knows they needed his size to combat the long and athletic Lakers. If an impatient owner cut him, be sure to pick him up. However, don't expect 32 minutes or 18-14 lines too often.

10/27/2010 1:05:00 AM
Description: Lopez totaled only five points and five rebounds in nearly 25 minutes of action in the loss to the Blazers.
Insight: Owners who drafted Lopez late in drafts were probably expecting a little bit more out of the big man. Give it some time and Lopez could still prove to be a worthwhile pick. (RapidDraft.com)

10/20/2010 7:02:00 AM
Description: Lopez had 14 points and ten rebounds to help the Suns beat the Warriors.
Insight: Lopez looks like the lone big on the Suns roster so he should get plenty of playing time. His numbers won't compare to his brother Brook, but he could be a decent second fantasy center. (RapidDraft.com)

10/7/2010 8:02:00 AM
Description: Robin Lopez had only two points, two rebounds and five turnovers in 15 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Raptors.
Insight: Don't let this one poor effort deter you from drafting Lopez in the later rounds of your draft this year. Most are still expecting him to emerge as a decent fantasy option this year. (RapidDraft.com)
