Hot8/18/2013 5:50:00 PM
Description: Kansas City left-hander Bruce Chen came back to Earth Sunday at Detroit. He gave up six runs on eight hits over 5 1/3 innings.
Insight: Chen came in having allowed four earned runs on 19 hits over his last 38 2/3 innings, but he wasn't expected to maintain that level of play or anything close to it.

Hot8/13/2013 10:59:00 PM
Description: Kansas City left-hander Bruce Chen has given up just four earned runs on 19 hits over 38 2/3 innings since rejoining the rotation.
Insight: Chen hasn't given up a run in 14 2/3 innings over his last two starts, including Tuesday against the Marlins. At age 36 and 1,428 2/3 innings into his career, Chen is pitching some of the best ball ever.

Hot8/3/2013 3:45:00 PM
Description: Kansas City left-hander Bruce Chen allowed one run on four hits while striking out eight against the Mets on Saturday afternoon.

Insight: Yes, Bruce Chen is still in baseball and owns a 1.97 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP in 35 2/3 innings pitching mostly in relief this season. Despite the strong start as a member of the rotation, he can be ignored in most fantasy leagues.

8/30/2012 9:22:00 AM
Description: Kansas City's Bruce Chen was dominant in an eight-inning performance Wednesday against the Tigers.

4/28/2012 8:11:00 PM
Description: Minnesota's game against the Royals was rained out today, meaning that Saturday's probable starters Bruce Chen and Jason Marquis will pitch on Sunday instead.

4/7/2012 11:40:00 AM
Description: Bruce Chen pitched well on Friday night against a loaded Angels lineup, but left after six scoreless innings and a no-decision.
Insight: That can sometimes happen when you face an ace like Jered Weaver. Weaver was simply untouchable going eight scoreless innings and striking out 10 batters. With the offense Kansas City has, Chen will get his wins and if he pitches this well will be a solid fantasy value capable of 15 or more wins this season.
