Description: Pittsburgh utilityman Josh Harrison went 4-for-6 with a double and a homer Sunday at Colorado.
Insight: Harrison was a questionable choice for the NL All-Star team, but there's no denying he's been a valuable utility player for Pittsburgh this season, filling in at second, third and both corner outfield spots. He's picked up 282 at-bats and hit .294 with six home runs, 33 RBI, 38 runs and 13 steals.

Description: Pittsburgh utility man Josh Harrison is just 1-for-10 versus Reds starter Homer Bailey.
Insight: Harrison (.317, 4 HR, 18 RBI, 23 runs) has been a catalyst for the Pirates offense, but isn't likely to help in this unfavorable matchup.

Description: Pittsburgh utility man Josh Harrison cranked four hits in Tuesday night's loss to Cincinnati.
Insight: Harrison (.319, 4 HR, 18 RBI) has gone 9-for-14 with three RBI over his last three games. As long as he keeps hitting, the Pirates will continue to find ways to get him in the lineup.

Description: Pirates utility man Josh Harrison will make his eighth start of the season in place of injured Starling Marte.
Insight: Josh Harrison will lead off and play right field. He's batting .367 with a .954 OPS in seven starts this season.

9/27/2012 11:47:00 AM
Description: Pirates infielder Josh Harrison should be in for a big fantasy day Thursday against the Mets. Harrison is a .600 hitter in 10 career at bats versus New York starter R.A. Dickey.
Insight: The knuckle ball hasn't seemed to phase Harrison, who has been playing a lot of second base lately due to Neil Walker's back injury. Harrison doesn't have a ton of upside usually but today seems like a safe day to start the 25-year-old.
