Description: Mets shortstop Justin Turner injured his ankle Saturday in an exhibition loss to Miami. | Insight: Turner hit a single in his only at bat of the afternoon. X-ray results should give us a clearer picture of what Turner (.269, 2 HR, 19 RBI in 94 games last season) is dealing with. For now, the Mets are calling Turner's injury a right ankle sprain and listing him as day-to-day.

Description: Justin Turner sprained his right ankle Monday in New York's 8-4 loss to Philadelphia. He's expected to miss 2-3 weeks. | Insight: Turner isn't a big fantasy producer (.269, 0 HRs, 10 RBIs) but what's interesting about his injury is that after he was taken out of the game, he was replaced at shortstop by David Wright (.373, 5 HRs, 28 RBIs). Imagine if Wright was able to gain shortstop eligibility in addition to already being eligible at third. We don't know if this is a real possibility yet but stay tuned to see what kind of lineup manager Terry Collins goes with on Tuesday night.

Description: Turner went 2-for-4 with a RBI on Tuesday against the Twins. | Insight: Turner is now batting .438 so far this Spring with three RBi. He could start at second base if Brian Roberts is not ready for the start of the regular season. (SportsBuff.com)
