Description: Los Angeles reliever Javy Guerra has been activated from the DL. Guerra underwent a procedure on his right knee about a month ago.
Insight: Guerra (2-3, 3.38 ERA) began the year as the Dodgers' closer but now that he's been moved to a setup role, he carries very little fantasy value.

Description: Dodgers reliever Javy Guerra is on the 15-day disabled list with right knee inflammation.
Insight: First, Guerra lost his role as the Dodgers closer, now he's on the disabled list. His fantasy value can't drop any lower.

Description: Javy Guerra blew his third save of the season on Sunday.
Insight: Guerra's ERA is now 5.84 and he's given up at least one run in five of his last eight appearances. It may be only a matter of time before manager Don Mattingly promotes Kenley Jansen to the closer role, so pick up Jansen if he's available.

Description: Javy Guerra blew a save and took the loss against Atlanta on Wednesday night. Guerra gave up three runs on five hits while only getting one out.
Insight: Guerra is 1-3 on the year with two blown saves. To his credit, he took a Brian McCann line drive off the side of his face but stayed in the game. Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said after the game that Guerra will remain the closer.

4/19/2012 4:23:00 PM
Description: Javy Guerra saved Los Angeles' win against the Brewers on Thursday in his first outing since blowing his first save of the season.
Insight: Guerra is now 5-for-6 in save opportunities. It's nice to see him get the job done after his poor outing on Tuesday. He's in no danger of yielding saves to Kenley Jansen at this point.

4/8/2012 11:25:00 AM
Description: The wolves keep yelling for Kenley Jansen to be the Dodgers closer, but Javy Guerra is two-for-two in the save department this season.
Insight: Guerra has yet to yield a hit in two innings of work. Long-term Jansen might end up the Dodgers best option at closer, but Guerra is the man right now and you should ride the wave for as long as possible. Guerra is still available in 20-percent of all Yahoo leagues.
