GAME NOTES: Instate foes meet on Saturday afternoon, as the Colorado Buffaloes take on the Air Force Falcons in non-conference action at Clune Arena.

The Buffaloes enter this game riding a six-game winning streak. During the streak, Colorado has outscored its opponents by an average of 16 points and have out-rebounded them by 12. A win today would give the Buffaloes their longest winning streak since capturing 4nine in a row during the 2005-06 season.

Most recently, Colorado downed Harvard 70-62 in Boulder on Sunday. Spencer Dinwiddie scored a game-high 17 points and Josh Scott added 12 points and 11 boards for the Buffaloes, who overcame a 12-point halftime deficit to escape with the win. After trailing 42-30 at halftime, the Buffaloes shot 48 percent from the field in the second half and put the clamps on Harvard, holding the Crimson to just 23.5 percent second-half shooting.

Dinwiddie leads Colorado in scoring this season, averaging 14.7 per game. While the guard is shooting an impressive 41.2 percent from the field and 44 percent from behind the arc, he is shooting at an 85-percent clip from the free-throw line, getting to the charity stripe an average of 10 times per game. As a matter a fact, as a team, the Buffaloes have nearly doubled their opponents' free-throw attempts this season and on average are scoring 13 more points from the charity stripe than their foes. Scott has given the Buffaloes an inside presence, averaging 12.6 points and a team-leading 8.8 boards per game.

Air Force comes into this contest off an 83-60 blasting at the hands of Richmond on Wednesday. The Falcons never led in the game and a 14-4 run by the Spiders midway through the second half turned out to be too much for Air Force to overcome. Tre' Coggins scored a team-high 16 points for the Falcons, who are 2-2 during a season-long, eight-game homestand.

Coggins leads the Falcons with 17.2 points per game, while fellow guard Max Yon is scoring an average of 13.7 points per game. Marek Clesinski is adding 13 points per game as well. However, that's about it for Air Force, which has yet to record a quality win and is not lighting up any scoreboards with a 71 points per game average.

Colorado has dominated this series winning 19 of the 22 meetings. The Buffaloes have also won three straight, including a 76-73 overtime win on Nov. 23, 2011. The last time Colorado lost to the Falcons was on Nov. 18, 2006, when Air Force blew out the Buffaloes 84-46 in Boulder.

Colorado has the size and is playing strong enough defensively to overpower the Falcons.

Sports Network Predicted Outcome: Colorado 85, Air Force 67
