(Saturday, January 12) Final Score: Princeton 65, Penn 53 Princeton, NJ (Sports Network) - T.J. Bray scored 23 points to lead the Princeton Tigers over the Penn Quakers, 65-53, in the Ivy League opener for both teams at Jadwin Gymnasium. For the Tigers (7-7, 1-0 Ivy), Ian Hummer added 13 points, Denton Koon scored 10 points and Will Barrett pulled down 10 rebounds. Tony Hicks led the Quakers with 16 points while Darien Nelson-Henry chipped in with 11 points. Princeton shot 42.3 percent from the field and held Penn to just 32 percent shooting, as the Tigers went into halftime leading 31-22. The Tigers connected on 5-of-12 from beyond the 3-point arc. The Quakers made only 2-of-6 from 3-point range in the half. After the break, the Tigers shot even better, making 56 percent of their field goal tries and draining 6-of-10 from 3-point range. The Quakers improved to 48.1 percent from field, but could not overcome their slow start as the Tigers grabbed the victory. The Tigers finished the game 11-of-22 from 3-point range.
