NCAA Game Summary - North Texas vs. Lamar (Tuesday, November 13) Final Score: North Texas 74, Lamar 59 Manhattan, KS (Sports Network) - Tony Mitchell tallied a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds to help lift the North Texas Mean Green to a 74-59 win over the Lamar Cardinals at Bramlage Coliseum. Alzee Williams scored 17 points for North Texas (1-2), while Chris Jones put up 15 points and seven assists. Jacob Holmen came off the bench to add 10 points. For Lamar (0-2), Donnell Minton led the way with 15 points. Rhon Mitchell added 13 points and Donley Minor chipped in with 10. In a close first half, North Texas went into the locker room up 36-30 despite shooting just 42.4 percent from the field. The Cardinals made only 12-of-33 from the field after the break as North Texas extended its lead down the stretch.
