NCAA Game Summary - Navy vs. Seattle

Irvine, CA (Sports Network) - Aaron Broussard scored 26 points and pulled down nine rebounds as the Seattle Redhawks picked up a 75-70 win over the Navy Midshipmen in 2K Sports Classic sub-regional action at the Bren Events Center.
Also scoring in double figures for the Redhawks (2-5) was Cervante Burrell with 19 points, followed by reserve Mark McLaughlin who recorded a double- double consisting of 13 points and a game-high 13 rebounds.
The Midshipmen (1-5) were paced by Jordan Sugars who delivered 21 points, although he shot a mere 2-of-11 behind the three-point line. James Loupos and Mark Veazey accounted for 12 points apiece as well.
Navy grabbed a 9-2 lead just minutes into the first half, but a 22-5 run by Seattle put the Redhawks ahead and they eventually grabbed a 35-29 advantage at the break.
In the second half Seattle locked up the five-point win by hitting on 18-of-23 chances at the free-throw line. For the game the Redhawks outscored Navy at the charity stripe, 22-14, and forced the Midshipmen into 18 turnovers on the afternoon.
