Maui, HI (SportsNetwork.com) - Sam Dower had 19 points and six rebounds, while Kevin Pangos added 18 points and seven assists as No. 11 Gonzaga routed Chaminade 113-81 in the consolation bracket of the Maui Invitational.

Gary Bell Jr. netted 16 points to go with six assists and Przemik Karnowski tallied 10 points and 13 boards for the Bulldogs (5-1), who will play Arkansas in the fifth-place game Wednesday.

"Today was about responding and we needed to respond," Gonzaga head coach Mark Few said.

Gonzaga shot 69.7 percent (46-of-66) from the floor.

Lee Bailey had 29 points to lead Chaminade (2-2), which will face Minnesota in the seventh-place game Wednesday.

Christophe Varidel, who netted 31 of his 41 points in the first half against Baylor in the quarterfinals of this tournament Monday, was limited to eight points on 3-of-7 shooting.

"They have got some skilled shooters, that's for sure and it's tough to play against a team like that," Chaminade head coach Eric Bovaird said.

The Bulldogs made 16 of their first 20 shots from the field as Dower's layup staked them a 39-23 advantage a little past the midway point of the opening half. Pangos nailed three triples and netted 11 points during the stretch.

Gonzaga, which shot 74.2 percent (23-of-31) in the first half, took a 58-40 cushion into the break and led by as many as 33 over the final 20 minutes.
