Boulder, CO (Sports Network) - Eric Moreland recorded a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds as the Oregon State Beavers defeated the Colorado Buffaloes, 64-58, in Pac-12 Conference action at the Coors Events Center.
Joe Burton also chipped in a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards for the Beavers (14-17, 4-14 Pac-12). Roberto Nelson added 15 points, as Oregon State snapped a five-game losing streak and will head into the conference tournament as the No. 11 seed.
For the Buffaloes (20-10, 10-8), Spencer Dinwiddie scored a game-high 18 points but was the only player in double-figures as they lost for the second time in three games.
In the first half, Oregon State was held to 2-of-7 beyond the arc. Colorado knocked down 5-of-14 from long-range en route to a 29-27 advantage at the break.
After intermission, Colorado was held to 39.3 percent from the floor, including a mere 1-of-7 from beyond the arc. Oregon State made 51.9 percent of its field goals, including 4-of-7 from long-range as it took the six-point victory.
Colorado was held to 6-of-21 from beyond the arc and was outscored, 34-26, in points in the paint on the day.
